This week I’m opening up about pay. Here’s the post where I share my salary growth over the past decade (and a 60% raise).
Today, I’m going to break down my base salary for each role that I’ve had. You may or may not be surprised.
Let’s dive in.
I went from $35K to 182K in 9 years
*note: this is not total comp. My total comp at Figma is ~$250K.
Long story short, pivots can be pivotal to your career. For me: it gave be better titles, more diverse experiences and increased my earning potential.
I believe in salary transparency so I hope this arms you with knowledge to get paid what you’re worth (and ask for what you want).
