How I made $12,000 in 1 day 😱

We don’t really talk too much about money online.

And I get why. It’s too personal, it’s none of your business, I’m a private person, etc.

But I believe in money transparency. Knowledge = power. The more you know, the more you can visualize success for yourself and create a path to get there. Here’s how I quadrupled my salary in 9 years.

A few things to note:

1. I’ve been creating content for 2 years and built my following from 2-160K followers across LinkedIn, Instagram, and this newsletter (this is leverage)

2. I’m sharing the revenue minus taxes and agency fees

3. The amount doesn’t equal consistent monthly revenue (there is seasonality)

Now, let’s break it down.

1/ LinkedIn Learning - $2,767

I have 3 courses on LinkedIn and get royalties monthly after my advance runs out.

1. ChatGPT for Project Managers: 10x Your Productivity with AI

2. Project Management Power Moves: Leading with Influence

3. Mastering Project Management with Asana

Most of my income comes from the AI course (yes, AI is hot). This is the most I’ve ever earned in a single month and 100% passive (usually, it’s about $1K per month on average).

I get paid out based on several metrics, including learners and completion per course. See the performance breakdown below -

2/ Stocks - $7,291

I’ve been investing in stocks over the past 10 years. I can’t disclose exactly what I have in my Robinhood (my husband would kill me), but here is how much I made in one day.

I have a diverse portfolio of ETFs and blue-chip stocks (think Apple and Meta). I also have a sizable amount in Nvidia, which happened to pop that day. However, I am not an expert, so please don’t ask for financial advice 🙏🏼

3/ 1-1 Coaching - $1000 per session

This is my hidden offer. Several people reached out for a consultation on building their personal brand, monetization, or business coaching.

This person wanted my help reviewing his high-ticket coaching offer, defining his sales strategy, and operationalizing his course (i.e., packaging, running, and managing it).

4/ Brand Deals - $2,500 for 1 LinkedIn Post

You might be surprised to learn that I have made close to six figures on sponsored collaborations alone. This is a highly lucrative income source, and I will double down on it in 2025 by working with talent partners and influencer marketing agencies and pitching myself!

Note: I did not start off charging this amount. It started with $400 per post, $600, $1000, and up. I built leverage by showing I can drive engagement with my audience by speaking their language (boosting impressions, engagement, and conversions to their product).

If you ever consider working with brands, focus on those you know and love (in the beginning, you will need to flex on their budget to build your portfolio, but it’s worth it!)
